about
The Fisher Ensemble

Words & Music | Garrett Fisher

Rather than a literal interpretation of history, THE PASSION OF SAINT THOMAS MORE is a meditation on More's decision to be true to his convictions and his refusal to agree to Henry VIII's demands. The recording is available on BIS Records and is part of their 30 year/30 CD commemorative edition. It received a 10/10 from Classics Today.

The piece is also the first opera in Fisher's PASSION TRILOGY.

Originally produced by the Fisher Ensemble.
